New Name, New Stuff!

Our So(u)l baby is joining the likes of P. Diddy, Prince, Katy Perry, Rihanna and Marilyn Monroe…  How you ask?  We’re changing our name!

We started the So(u)l Collective a year ago with the goal of supporting and working alongside artisans in Guatemala and Nicaragua bringing their gorgeous creations to North America all the while providing a fair, equitable wage.  We just wanted to help and with your support we did.

We started off with a couple of products – our Re:Make scarf, artisan made bags, clutches and cuffs as well as a line of home decor – all of which…thanks to you – SO(U)LED OUT!

Over the year while we’ve grown our So(u)l baby, we’ve been listening carefully to our customers — the So(u)ldiers who have supported us since the beginning! — and with your input, we’re carving out a path that’s even more exciting.

So what is Liv & Lola?  Style that is played up or down to meet you at the beach or on the high streets of any metropolis city.  It is the excitement of the big city but taking time to slow down… and doing some yoga, perhaps.  Somewhat the crossroads of our lives 😉 — Alia residing in the city of Vancouver and Chris on the beaches of Nicaragua.  It is for the modern woman who embodies the true meaning of a free spirit, whether she’s a city gal at heart or a barefoot beach girl (or a little bit of both):  she is true to herself and her own personal style.  A style that is about looking good and doing good.

We’ve got some gorgeous new products that we’ve been working and we can’t wait to show you — all made with heart and soul, of course!  Our commitment to fair trade and ethical business practices will never change.  Ever.

Let’s get the conversation started at @livandlola on Instagram, @livandlola on Twitter, or on Facebook.  (Our website and email will officially be making the change over the course of this week!)

Thanks for the love and support as always!
